Description
English: As seen in May 2022, this view of the main entrance on the underside of The Egg on Albany, New York's Empire State Plaza also includes a view of one of three copies of Antoni Milkowski's notable sculpture, Salem No. 7 (1965-67). A typical example of the minimalism and geometric forms he employed in his work, the sculpture consists of six identically-sized cubes of Cor-Ten steel surrounding a seventh cube of empty space. Other copes of Salem No. 7 exist at the Lynden Sculpture Garden in Milwaukee and on the grounds of University Hospital in Cleveland.
