Description
English: The Philippine Air Force’s Personnel and Assets participated in the Field Training Exercise 1 (FTX1) - Joint Air Defense and Counter Air Operations conducted from November 9-10, 2023, as part of the AFP Joint Exercises Dagat-Langit-Lupa (AJEX DAGITPA) 07-23. Operating with the Philippine Navy, the PAF engaged in intensive training Activities aimed at strengthening its Capabilities in Joint Air Defense Operations.

Deployed PAF Ground and Air Assets include three (3) FA50s, one (1) AS211, two (2) A-29B Super Tucanos, one (1) Spyder Philippine Air Defense System (SPADS), two (2) Radar Systems, and a standby Search and Rescue aircraft (Bell205A & S-76A). This robust combination of Assets, together with highly competent Operators, showcased the PAF's Capabilities to contribute to joint operational effectiveness.

By engaging in these Exercises, the PAF and its Counterparts from the Philippine Army and Philippine Navy sought to fortify the Nation's Territorial Defense Capabilities and resiliency in times of Calamities and Disasters, with the overarching Strategic Goal of promoting and upholding Peace and Security not only within the Country but also across the Region.
