Description
Deutsch: Donau.zwischen km 555 und 490 in Richtung Ruse. Vom Schiff Amadeus Symphony (ship, 2003) aus gesehen. Die Kilometerabgabe bezieht sich von Passau mit 2223 km und Schwarzen Meer mit 0 km. Die Giurgiu-Russe-Freundschaftsbrücke oder Brücke der Freundschaft ist eine kombinierte Straßen- und Eisenbahnhubbrücke über die Donau zwischen dem rumänischen Giurgiu und dem bulgarischen Rousse. Eröffnet wurde es am 20. Juni 1954. Auf zwei übereinander liegenden und voneinander getrennten Brückenteilen wird der Straßen- und Eisenbahnverkehr über die Donau geführt; auch ein Bürgersteig für Fußgänger ist vorhanden. Die Brücke ist 2,8 km lang und ragt an ihrer höchsten Stelle 30 m über den Wasserspiegel. Zum Zeitpunkt ihrer Eröffnung war sie die längste Kombi-Brücke Europas. Donaukilometer 488,70 km
