Summary edit

Description
English: The down loop starter signal at Par in Cornwall. The arms are low to improve sighting under the canopy iver the platform. Signal arm 8 on the right is most often used, controlling trains going down the branch to St Blazey and Newquay. On the left is arm 5 for trains running down the main line towards Penzance. The disc signal controls shunting moves into the up refuge siding, which is mostly used to put the Newquay branch train out of the way when trains are running through between the main line and branch.
