Description
Nederlands: Gezicht vanaf de Hoge Brug op restanten van de vestingwerken van Wyck te Maastricht. Op de voorgrond de in de 19e eeuw verlaagde Maasmuur met een dichtgemetselde poterne. Daarachter de Maaspunttoren, een overblijfsel van de 14e-eeuwse stadsmuur, gerestaureerd in 1911-1913. Links daarvan de fundamenten van de 15e-16e-eeuwse uitbreiding van de stadsmuur, begin jaren 1990 opgegraven en geconserveerd in het ontwerp van het Charles Eyckpark.
