| Description | 20 North Michigan Avenue between East Madison and East Washington Streets in the Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, also known as the Illinois Medical Society Builing and formerly the Smith, Gaylord, and Cross Building, was built in 1882 and renovated in 1891 by Beers, Clay, and Dutton. It was more recently renovated in 1985, and was awarded LEED certification at the Gold level in 2009 by the U.S. Green Building Council. (Sources: [1], [2]) |
