English: The McKees Rocks Bridge is a steel trussed through arch bridge which carries the Blue Belt across the Ohio River at Brighton Heights and McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, west of Pittsburgh.
Original description:Built during the bridge building boom of the early 30s the McKees Rocks bridge is actually 2 bridges - this one that spans the Ohio River and another significant section that cross the "bottoms" and the railroad tracks that used to serve the industry along the western shore. The Alcosan wastewater treatment plant is visible in the foreground. |
