Description
English: 24-5047 Erco 415C Ercoupe a/n 1217. The ERCO Ercoupe is a low-wing monoplane aircraft that was designed and built in the United States. It was first manufactured by the Engineering and Research Corporation (ERCO) shortly before World War II; several other manufacturers continued its production after the war. The final unit was completed in 1968. It was designed to be the safest fixed-wing aircraft that aerospace engineering could provide at the time, and the type continues to enjoy a faithful following - Day 1 Watts Bridge Airfield Festival of Flight 'The Vintage Experience' 2010.
