Description

I spent the night of 25 June 2015 in the historic town of Loket a short distance from Karlovy Vary. With sunrise being around 05:00 there was opportunity for morning photography to capture a photograph and ride on an early morning train to Loket předměstí. Again, another "one stop beyond the main station" where a just few trains per day continue through to. Just 400 metres from the main station (longer by road) and with no other passengers at 06:50 in the morning, you do wonder why a section of line including a tunnel has to be kept open.

Train was Os27143, 06:55 Loket předměstí to Nové Sedlo u Lokte.

In the background you can see that the line now ends here, again it continued through to Krásný Jez, having closed in 1997.
