In 1894 (May 23), the construction of the Emperor's Bridge began, on the Zeta River, near Nikšić (Montenegro). It was completed in 6 months, thanks to Russian imperial help (Alexander III, who was dying in those days).

Српски / srpski: Svečano otvaranje Carevog mosta. 1894. (23. maj) započeta gradnja Carevog mosta, na rijeci Zeti, kod Nikšića. Građen je od klesanog kamena, sa 18 lukova, dužine 269m i širine 5,90m. Završen je za 6 mjeseci, zahvaljujući ruskoj carskoj pomoći (Aleksandar III, koji je tih dana bio na samrti).
