English: Looking west down the Brooklyn-bound platform of the Second Avenue IND 6th Avenue station, under East Houston Street between 1st Avenue / Allen Street and 2nd Avenue / Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side, Manhattan. Note that the support beams are thick and concrete, as the station is fairly deep for an IND station, and was supposed to run below the Second Avenue Subway. |
