Description
English: The exit stairs to 2nd Avenue and Chrystie Street at the west end of the Brooklyn-bound platform of the Second Avenue IND 6th Avenue station, under East Houston Street and 2nd Avenue / Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side, Manhattan. Note that the stairs are two flights high, as this platform was intended to be located underneath the Second Avenue Subway. The transfer to the SAS line would probably have been very complicated had it been built this way.
