| Description | retro Uploadr 2008- THE END. The final few seconds of an active Bristol Omnibus Roe bodied Leyland Olympian on the road in its home city are captured as A960THW slows to make the turn into Muller Road depot. On February 9th 2008 it was intended that this bus would work one final all-day board on the 70 from Centre to UWE as an unofficial farewell marking the end of 26 years of sterling service from the type bettering that achieved by all previous types by several years but after the first complete journey the bells wouldn't stop sounding and the bus was sadly taken off service. None of the A-THW Leyland's survived into preservation. |
