Description

The second of a group of three photographs taken near Dawlish, of the three locomotives 31 165, D1048 and D1041 being hauled from Newton Abbot to Swindon works for a decision as to their fate. The two Westerns were to survive into preservation, but I do not think the class 31 survived scrapping.
