Description

Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano Boeing 727-100 resting at Cochabamba airport in between two domestic flights...next stop: Sucre.

This Boeing 727-78 (c/n 18795/ 104, first flight: January 5, 1965) was first delivered to BWIA in January 1965. Between 1971 and 1975 the trijet flew for Braniff as N306BN.

From 1975 until its retirement in 2005 the 727 flew for LAB. During its lifespan covering four decades the jet accumulated over 79'000 cycles, which is the record for a 727 (I am glad that I could experience two of them: Cochabamba-Sucre and La Paz-Cuzco...).
