Description
Français : ... Le Consulaire, énorme pièce de canon, fondue à Venise en 1542. Défendait le port d'Alger en 1683 quand il fut attaqué par Duquesne. Prise par les Français au siège d'Alger sous Louis Philippe, elle fut érigée en colonne en 1833 et surmontée du Coq Gaulois". Sur le quai du port de guerre, le Consulaire.
