Description
English: Private (Pte) Jeff Worle of Hampton, Victoria, a member of 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), carries an enemy weapon captured after heavy fighting at Fire Support Base (FSB) Balmoral, about twenty five miles north of Saigon. About forty eight enemy soldiers were killed when two North Vietnamese battalions assaulted the base with rockets, mortars and a ground attack. [3790789 Pte Jeffrey Thomas Worle was killed in action on 28 May 1968.]
