Description
English: Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam. 1968-05. Two soldiers from 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), Private Peter Guy of Fremantle, WA (left), and Private Kevin Scales of Athol Park, SA, inspect enemy weapons, RPG-7 (rocket propelled grenade), an RPD light machine gun and a Type 56 carbine, all captured after the battle with two North Vietnamese battalions at Fire Support Base (FSB) Balmoral, about twenty five miles north of Saigon. Forty eight enemy soldiers were killed in the fighting.
