Description 428-GX-KN 24841: Washington, D.C. Upon the conclusion of the retirement ceremony for Rear Admiral Francis D. Foley, (right), the coveted Grey Eagle Trophy was passed on to Admiral Thomas H. Moorer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Moorer is the 23rd recipient of the award which is presented to the “The Most Ancient Naval Aviator on Active Duty.” The ceremony took place at the Washington Navy Yard. Photographed by PH2 I.C.
