  • Italiano: Le piante di papiro in Europa crescono solo a Siracusa: ecco perché a partire dalla fine del Settecento in questa città studiosi e appassionati locali le utilizzarono in esperimenti per riscoprire il metodo di fabbricazione degli antichi papiri.   • English: Papyrus plants in Europe only grow at Syracuse: this is why beginning with late 18th century in this town experiments were made to re-discover the method used in ancient times to crete papyrus paper.
