| Description |
One of the rare charters to traverse the Seymour Junction to Elmton and Creswell Jct branch 1Z28. The "Virgin and Clown" passes the site of Oxcroft Colliery No1 box.There was a passing loop here where the banker from Creswell,usually an 8F would detach. The embankment and bridge parapets in the background carried the former LDEC line from Langwith Jct to Beighton Jct . The tour was Kings Cross to Kings Cross via Derbyshire and Yorkshire 47418 was low on fuel and was replaced by 47412 at Peterborough for the run back to the Cross |
