Description
Français : Maisons anciennes à pans de bois, bien restaurées, quartier St-Jacques de Parthenay (79).
  • dans le coin inférieur droit de l'image, croix de Jérusalem, symbole des chrétiens d'Orient, apposée en blason sur façade du n°48;
  • les n°50-52 correspondent, en rez-de-chaussée, à un atelier + galerie d'un graveur-émailleur. Noter au centre, l'enseigne Compostela figurant un pèlerin et, juste en-dessous, un autre blason. Parthenay est en effet située sur l'un des chemins de St-Jacques, à ce titre cité étape (la ville est par ailleurs traversée par le GR36, liant Normandie aux Pyrénées). Les façades de ces édifices, datées XV-XVIe s., sont protégées depuis 1926.
