Description

To finish the week we have a photograph of an elegant military officer with a title to test your prowess.

Given the broad range in this entry (1901-1954), there's been some debate about which Marquess this might be. There's a question on whether it's the 4th Marquis of Headfort (Geoffrey Thomas Taylour; 1878–1943, ADC in the 10th Irish Division during the Great War), or his son the 5th Marquis (Terence Geoffrey Thomas Taylour; 1902–1960, Captain in the Warwickshire Yeomanry TA and Staff Captain with the Australian armed forces in the 1940s).

We thought that perhaps the uniform, cap badge and insignia might help clarify, and there does seem to be a leaning towards the 4th Marquis, but we haven't rung the "subject identified" klaxon just yet....
