Description
English: A U.S. Air Force General Dynamics F-16C Block 30B Fighting Falcon (s/n 85-1546) and a McDonnell Douglas F-4G Phantom II (s/n 69-0274) "Wild Weasel" flying past castle Hohenzollern in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg in the late 1980s. Both planes were assigned to the 52nd Tactical Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The F-16C and F-4G in this photo were both assigned to the 480th TFS, which was the first USAF unit to ever use two different aircraft in the performance of a single hunter-killer mission.
