Description
English: A 1980s-era square entrance globe at the entrance to the Lexington Avenue – 53rd Street IND station inside of 875 Third Avenue, at 3rd Avenue between 53rd Street and 52nd Street in East Midtown Manhattan. The building was built in 1982, the subway entrance created along with it. The logo on the globe seems to be a hybrid of the 1980s "M" logo and the modern MTA logo.
