-Photo by Kathy Munsel, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife- Cutsforth Ponds are two small trout ponds in an attractive forest setting in Umatilla National Forest. The ponds are in Cutsforth Park about 20 miles south of the Heppner-Ukiah Road. They cover about 1/2 acre and are connected by a channel. The ponds are stocked with legal trout in late spring. A fishing platform with wheelchair-accessible ramp accesses good fishing. Camping is permitted. Recommended for youngsters. |
