Description
English: A square plan, two storey stone temple near Ganj village, Madhya Pradesh, at the entrance of forested Vindhya mountain valleys. Dated to the 5th or 6th century, it is one of the oldest surviving north Indian Nagara style architecture. The temple has intricate carvings of Shaivism, Vaishnavism and Shaktism themes, as well as secular narratives such as kama / amorous couples.
