Description Front of GB Railfreight class 66/7 (JT42CWR) number 66710 built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division and named "Phil Packer BRIT" (www.flickr.com/photos/laurasia280/11784965365/) after an army officer who sustained serious injuries whilst on duty in Iraq in 2008 photographed hauling 4E19 empty gypsum containers mounted on 18 flat wagons from Mountfield Sidings (Gbrf) East Sussex to West Burton Ps (Gbrf) (421Q ZZ) on 9 December 2013. To comply with gas emission regulations limestone (CaCO3) delivered to the power station (by other trains) to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from the flue gasses, is converted into gypsum (CaSO4·2H2O). The waste product (gypsum) is then delivered to British Gypsum's Robertsbridge Works where it is used to manufacture plaster and plasterboard. 66710 was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division, London, Ontario, Canada in 2002 and unloaded from a heavy lift ship at Newport Docks around 22 June 2002 (www.flickr.com/photos/60854097@N06/7354331056/in/photolis...).
