Salam and his soldiers assigned to the Belize Special Assignment Group (BSAG) are being advised by the Operational Detachment-Alpha, a detachment comprised of members of the U.S. Army's 7th Special Forces Group. The SF group is training and mentoring the BSAG in counter-narcotic operations in order to deter trafficking through Belize. Salam has served in the Belize Defence Force for 11 years | ||||
