Summary edit

Description
English: Getting off a southbound R train at the 86th Street BMT Fourth Avenue Line station in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. An island platform local station, this station was originally supposed to be a four-track express station on the way to Staten Island. The current platform, built on the west side of 4th Avenue, would have been the southbound (Staten Island-bound) platform; another platform would have been built on the east side of the street. Looking east.
