China Elddonsgehäng med amuletter av mynt. Tibetanskt. Hedinexpeditionen, första centralasiatiska expeditionen (1893-1897)

Samlingen förvärvades under slutet av Sven Hedins första expedition (1893-97). Efter det att han kartlagt den Tibetanska högplatåns (Chang Tang) norra del kom han till vad som idag är Provinsen Qinghai (del av Amdo), ett område av överlappande tibetansk, mongolisk och kinesisk befolkning. De allra flesta föremålen förvärvades i provinsen Qinghai (del av Amdo), ett område av överlappande tibetansk, mongolisk och kinesisk befolkning. Många föremål förvärvades under ett uppehåll vid det stora Gelug klostret Kumbum. En del föremål kan vara från Provinsen Xinjiang (Östturkestan) eller från andra områden av Qinghai, t.ex. staden Sining och de mongoliska områdena i norra Tsaidambäckenet..
