"Lillian G" departing 1200-foot lock with "River Wolverine" in tow. Ohio River mile 607. Louisville, Ky. 16-Dec-1999. 99L038. . Towboat "Lillian G" (doc # 507264). Length 90 feet - Breadth 30 feet - Twin Screw Cat 3512B, 3000 hp. Built 1967 by Mississippi Marine Corp., Greenville, MS. Originally "Mary Ann", owned by Double W Towing Co., Greenville, Miss.. In 1971, bought by Mon River Towing, Belle Vernon, PA, and renamed "Lillian G". Repowered 2003. In 2006, bought by Consol Energy, Monessen, PA, and renamed "Champion Coal". In late 2013, bought by Murray Energy Corp., St. Clairsville, Ohio, and soon thereafter renamed "Cailey Moore". . Towboat "River Wolverine" (doc. # 263098). Length 116 feet - Width 30 feet - Twin Screw GM 12-567E2 2400 HP. Built 1952 by St. Louis Shipbuilding & Steel Co., St. Louis, MO. Originally named "La Salle" and owned by Commercial Transport Corp., Houston. Sold in 1974 to Tennessee Towing, Memphis. Sold in 1981 and operated by Igert, Paducah. Sold in 1987 to Tolen Marine, Paducah, and renamed "Claudia T". Sold in 1997 to McNational, South Point, Ohio, and renamed "River Wolverine". Operated by Excell Marine Corp., Cincinnati. Renamed "Capt. Dick Morton" in 2005. Sold in 2008 (?) to Marquette Transportation, Paducah, and renamed "Blessed Sacrament". . scanned from 6x9 negative.
