Description

Sabre modéle 1822 troupe. Brandebourgs Les hussards "d'oraison funèbre" s'installent à Tarbes (65) en 1851. Ils laissent leurs garnison de Pontivy. Tous les chevaux étaient de robe foncée, sauf ceux des musiciens qui étaient gris.

En mars 1856, le 9éme hussard quitte Tarbes et est dissous 2 mois plus tard non sans avoir laissé une grande partie de ses hommes et de ses chevaux Tarbais au 1er Hussards de retour de Crimée.
