Summary edit

Description
English: A new and striking photograph, taken by special permission of the Admiralty, om board a British destroyer on patrol. It shows how the Navy gets to work when the detectors smell out a lurking U-boat. So efficient are the measures taken by the Allied Navies, that it has been estimated that so far Germany has lost over 50 of her submarines. The picture shows a depth charge exploding with terrific force, dealing destruction to the U-boat.
