Mr R.P. Hunt
Dear Sir
I was at your mill yesterday and looked at the Sheeting and the Gentleman that showed me appeared to know me and I Supposed he did for I have frequently traded there and I told him I wanted a bale of Sheeting as I had bought before and the first of Feb I would pay within thirty days He said they were Selling for 6 ¾ cash down. I thought it all right and told him to Send me a Bale and I would send the money on Thursday morning and he said they would be Sent. So I depended on them and am waiting. I could have bought a bale here at seven cts of A merchant that has more than he wants. The bats I cared but little for as there is nothing made on them after paying charges for cartage there & Here. If you Send them you Shall have your pay the next day. I thought it a fair bargain and on one bale it is but little, but the expense of going & the cartage & freight makes a little and that I thought saved in the price. I Should like them if you will Send them on the first price 6 ¾
