Description

Une monnaie en cuivre d'une unité du roi Asbar de l'Ouest de la Sogdiane datée d'environ de la fin de la deuxième moitié du Ve siècle ou du début de la première moitié du VIe siècle selon le site "Coins of Central Asia". Mais tout le monde n'est pas d'accord et elle se balade entre le IIIe siècle et la VIe siècle. A/ Portrait du roi à droite sans doute avec diadème orné d'un croissant, cercle de points. R/ Autel du feu avec des flammes dont le pilier est remplacé par un tamga de Boukhara, autour légende en sogdien lisible comme "xwβ ´sbr" c'est à dire roi (a)sb(a)r. Cercle de points. Dimension : 18 mm Poids : 1.83 g.
