English: Looking ENE from below 600-foot lock at McAlpine Locks.
Construction of cellular cofferdam around old 360-foot and 600-foot locks before they are replaced by new 1200-foot lock. Two concrete pumps inside cell 11 are pumping concrete into cell 12. Concrete is brought to site in ready-mix trucks and pumped from Kentucky bank through pipes laid on barges across to 1200-foot lock. "Suzie Q" tends a crane barge. . Ohio River mile 607.
