English: A34 looking north A fairly quiet day on the A34. This is near the site of "Rizla Ridge" one of the sections of the famous Newbury bypass protests, the "third battle of Newbury" whilst being built in 1996. It follows the line of the former Didcot-Newbury-Southampton railway line, preventing that useful link from ever being reopened. |
