English: How the output of the AES cipher changes as the fist bit of the plaintext (the top left value of the matrix) moves from 0 through to 255. All the other values of the plaintext are 0 and all the subkeys are 0 (so each stage of the SP-network are XORed with zero.) This demonstrates the avalanched effect of the AES cipher.
The image is the AES matrix and the shade of green is the value of the matrix. Self-made in Java. |
