  • Grev Wedels Square, a street address for several buildings at Akershus, with cobblestone paving
  • The Commandant's Quarters (Captain Watchmaster's Residence/Garrison Major's Residence), a wooden empire-style house built in 1800
  • The Artillery Magazine (built in 1870)
  • Arsenal Caretaker's Residence (built in 1860)
  • The Main Arsenal (built in 1859):
    • Norwegian Armed Forces Museum
    • Two gray-painted cannons on gun carriages: The Armstrong 4-inch / 28-pound Position Gun M/1870 was a static artillery piece with a 4-inch bore and the ability to fire 28-pound shells. The union of Norway-Sweden purchased 12 of these cannons. It was designed by Sir William Armstrong and used for coastal defense, etc. and featured rifled barrels for improved accuracy and range.
  • Fortress Gymnasium, built in 1861 in classical Neo-Renaissance style as a gymnastics and fencing hall at the southern end of the outer fortress
