Nederlands: Kaart van Japan uit de Atlas van der Hagen, Koninklijke Bibliotheek, Den Haag Deel 4. Deze kaart van Japan toont de weg van Osaka naar Jedo. De kaart is afkomstig uit een rijk geïllustreerd reisverslag van een Nederlandse handelsdelegatie naar de keizer van Japan. De auteur van de kaart was de Schellingwoudse predikant Arnold Montanus die de belevenissen uit de mond van de leden van de expeditie optekende en deze in 1669 bij Jacob van Meurs in Amsterdam publiceerde.
English: Map of Japan taken from the Atlas van der Hagen, Koninklijke Bibliotheek, The Hague Part 4. This map of Japan shows the route from Osaka to Jedo. The chart is taken from a richly illustrated travel journal of a Dutch trade delegation to the emperor of Japan. The mapmaker was a preacher from Schellingwoude, Arnold Montanus, who recorded the experiences related by members of the expedition and subsequently had them published by Jacob van Meurs in Amsterdam in 1669.
