Het mausoleum bevond zich even benoorden Cheribon.

Sjeik Ibn Moelana was volgens Valentyn één van de belangrijkste verspreiders van de Islam op Java.

Tombeau de Sjeich Ibn Moelana / Graf-Stede van Sjeich Ibn Moelana. -The illustration corresponds entirely to that contained in 'Oud en Nieuw Oost-Indiën' by François Valentyn.

The mausoleum was situated just to the north of Cheribon.

According to Valentyn Sheikh Ibn Moelana was one of the principal people to propagate Islam on Java.
