Description

Specially designed as a wheelchair accessible taxi, the MV-1 nearly went out of production for good in 2013 only to be revived by AM General soon after. It has since found a niche as one of the only purpose-built cabs on the market. It's also approved for use as a NYC Yellow Cab due to its handicap accessibility.

This one is working for Access-a-Ride, which is NY's paratransit taxi system. Access-a-Ride vehicles are operated by independent contractors, but owned by the MTA. The MTA may be the largest operator of MV-1s in the area.
