English: INICIOS DE LA CAPILLA SAN SEBASTIÁN
Por el año de 1917 y después que nuestro pueblo sufriera por dos años consecutivos de sequía, los hermanos agricultores se congregaron y tomaron la decisión de pedir a Dios por intercepción de San Sebastián, el agua deseada, creando el primer grupo de hermanos de nuestra Comunidad. Fueron a entrevistarse con el Párroco de Chepen R.P Wenceslao Lázaro Alayo quien muy gustoso permitió que se traslade la imagen de nuestro Santo Patrón al puente San Sebastián. El fervor religioso crecía, siempre rogando al Señor por intercepción de San Sebastián .Un gran festín se organizaba cada 31 de Diciembre Hasta el 2 de Enero del siguiente año en ese entonces San Sebastián tenía un humilde altarcito de estaca y caña hermosamente decorada con docenas de flores y velas dando testimonio del amor a este Hermano nuestro. |
