Description
Deutsch: Das Amalienbad ist ein bekanntes Hallenbad im 10. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Favoriten. Es befindet sich am Reumannplatz. Die Badeanstalt wurde in den Jahren 1923 bis 1926 nach Plänen der Architekten Karl Schmalhofer und Otto Nadel erbaut. Ihren Namen Amalienbad erhielt sie nach der im Jahr 1926 verstorbenen Gemeinderätin Amalie Pölzer. Das Amalienbad zählte bei seiner Eröffnung zu den größten Bädern Europas.
Deutsch: This is a known indoor spa in the 10th Viennese district favorites. It is located at the Reumannplatz. The main building was built in the years 1923 and 1926 by architects Karl Otto Schmalhofer and Otto Nadel. It´s name the Amalienbad received in 1926 by the late Councillor Amalie Pölzer. The Amalienbad counted in his opening at the largest spas in Europe.
