Deutsch: "ATTAS fliegt wie ein Phönix aus der Asche". Grüße zur Taufe im Jahr 1985, das Luftfahrtunternehmen MBB (Messerschmidt-Bölkow-Blohm) spielte damit auf das zuvor eingestellte VFW 614-Programm an. Die meisten Flugzeuge dieses Typs wurden derzeit verschrottet. Die MBB-Mitarbeiter hofften, dass mit ATTAS wenigstens eine VFW 614 (neben den 3 der Flugbereitschaft) noch viele Jahre im Einsatz bleiben würde. English: "ATTAS flies like a Phoenix as it rises from the ashes." In this greeting for the baptism of ATTAS in 1985, the airline company MBB (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm) made reference to the previous 614-VFW programme. Most of these aircraft are no longer operational. The MBB staff hoped that, with ATTAS, at least one VFW 614 would remain operational for years to come. |
