Description
English: Blazon:„Party per pale gules and azure; two wings Argent, ahead charged with a torteaux, rear with a hurt and on the pale with a plate.“
The arms were officially granted on August 26, 1965. The arms are a combination of the wings of St. Michael, taken from the arms of the St. Michaels abbey in the village, and the three roundels of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of the village.
Deutsch: Blasonierung:„Gespalten in Rot und Blau, darin jederseits ein einwärtsgekehrter silberner (weißer) Flügel, der rechte belegt mit einer roten, der linke mit einer blauen Kugel und zwischen beiden Flügeln am Spalt eine silberne (weiße) Kugel.“
Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Salzburger Landesregierung am 26. August 1965 verliehen. Die Flügel stehen für die Benediktinerabtei Michaelbeuern und die Kugeln symbolisieren Äpfel, Attribute des hl. Nikolaus, Pfarrpatron von Dorfbeuern.
