Description
English: U.S. Marine Corps McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II jets attached to Marine Attack Squadron 311 (VMA-311) "Tomcats" and a Bell Boeing MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (VMM-265) "Dragons" fly in formation off the western coast of Australia. The aircraft were assigned to the amphibiaous assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) which was on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
