Description (C-1948-21291): This 4- by 10-inch supersonic tunnel known as the Duct Lab was located in the AWT’s basement, and it used the AWT’s exhausters for power. Able to reach Mach 5, it supported a wide variety of fundamental aerodynamic studies for over 50 years.
