| Description |
The bird was too close to me - maybe 10-12 feet. So I didn't move and waited for an opportunity to get a better shot. As I was waiting, 3 other Malkohas came by to the same branch, had a brief fight and flew away. Sometimes, its just good to enjoy the show when you know the opportunities to shoot are poor. The bird is a non-parasitic cuckoo and named after its distinctive blue eye patch. It is a common bird once we know how to sight it. Many thanks in advance for your views and feedback.
